Val Zwiller

Prof. Val Zwiller heads the Quantum Nano Photonics group in the Applied Physics department of KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden and has extensive experience in the field of quantum nano photonics with a h-index of 69. In addition, Val co-founded Single Quantum in 2012, a company that develops and produces high-performance single photon detectors.

Ali Elshaari

Dr. Ali Elshaari is Associate Professor of Quantum Technology at KTH and co-founder of Quantum Scopes AB. An internationally recognized leader in quantum photonics, he specializes in integrated quantum photonic circuits, superconducting single-photon detectors, and telecom-band quantum light sources.

Stéphane Cohen

Stéphane Cohen is a quantum photonics engineer specializing in superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) and quantum optical instrumentation. With dual master’s degrees from KTH and the Institute for Optics (Quantum Technologies track), he combines strong theoretical foundations with advanced experimental and nanofabrication expertise .

Zacharias Tzitzikas

Zacharias Tzitzikas is a PhD candidate at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, specializing in Quantum Technology. His research focuses on quantum photonics and advanced sensing applications, particularly using superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) for biomedical and quantum communication systems.

Chien-Ju Lee

Dr. Chien-Ju Lee holds a Ph.D. in Electrophysics and brings extensive expertise in quantum photonics, single-photon sources, and advanced optical microscopy. With research experience spanning leading academic institutions in Taiwan and Sweden, including KTH Royal Institute of Technology, he has contributed to high-impact advances in quantum emitters and nanophotonic platforms

Mohammed Alqedra

Dr. Mohammed Alqedra is an experimental quantum physicist and entrepreneur specializing in quantum optics, photonic instrumentation, and quantum communication systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Atomic Physics from Lund University and previously conducted postdoctoral research at KTH in quantum networks and telecom-band photon sources.

Venkatesh Elayaraja

Venkatesh Elayaraja is a Systems & Integration Engineer specializing in scientific instrumentation, software development, and quantum hardware integration. With a background in Engineering Physics at KTH, he focuses on programming and deploying high-performance data acquisition and control systems for quantum optical platforms.
